NYBFW Fall 2024 Trends

After an exciting week in New York for NYBFW Fall 2024 here is a recap of the emerging bridal trends for the season!

Bow details

Bows were a prominent theme we saw coming through from Elie Saab’s collection this season. In previous years we have loved a bow at the back of a gown, but this was a fresh take on the trend being featured on the bodice. We love how a bow adds a playful and feminine touch.

The mini

The mini dress was a trend we saw once again. Perfect for all bridal events from your welcome drinks, hens party and reception. This season we saw a lot of A-Line mini dresses with fun floaty skirts, perfect for the dancefloor at your reception!

Overskirts and trains

We saw the concept of overskirts throughout all of the designers collections. Perfect for the bride that wants a fitted gown, but the drama of a train for their ceremony. Overskirts can also be a great way to add detail to your look.

Statement accessories

We visited Jennifer Behr and saw her new 2024 collection. A lot of fun statements for brides to make with either colour, bows and pearls!

In terms of veils, we saw a lot that were scattered with beautiful floral embroidery and embellishments. This trend lends itself really well to both brides who have chosen plain and detailed gowns. A matching detailed veil is lovely to complete the look, whilst is also a really nice way to add interest and texture to a simpler look.
